Rationale and Objectives

Introduction

    Islam is a perfect religion that was revealed through His messenger. Practically, Islamic teaching inspired human behavior which finally directs human knowledge suitable with Islamic worldview.  Islamic worldview refers to a general conception on the nature of the world, particulaly implying a system of value-principles. On this regards, a system of value principles shall be inspired by Islamic tenets or Islamic moral philosophy.

    One of our efforts to strengthen the understanding on Islamic worldview as well as its practice is by organizing an annual international conference named “3rd International Conference on Islamic Economics and Financial Inclusion” (3rd ICIEFI). This conference is aimed at providing a forum for sharing as well as promoting cutting-edge research in Islamic Economics, particularly related to Islamic Social Finance.This conference is expected able to further elaborate the role of Islamic Social Finance in the context of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Finally, this conference could facilitate productive networking among Islamic economists in promoting Islamic economics and finance into current envirounment for answering present challenges.
